Wawa - Ventnor City

I gave one star for atmosphere because the morale in the store is miserable. I e spoken with not one but numerous staff members who have stated that the manager Pamie treats the staff awful. Matt should be the manager because anytime you go in there while he's working the staff is productive and happy to be there. I never saw what an awful manager Pamie was until tonight.it was around 6pm when I went to get my evening coffee with a few other items when this happened. I need to vent and let others know how the manager (Pamie) of Wawa treats customers. So tonight I got my items and was about to leave. While standing near the counter looking at the bus schedule on my phone I overheard the manager(Pamie) telling Michelle that I needed to leave the store. I replied, I'm leaving as soon as I'm finished looking at the bus schedule. The manager Pamie told Michelle that I needed to leave now or she would be calling the police on me. I'm honestly at a lost for words as I didn't do anything to receive such harsh treatment. I was a patron

I have typically loved Wawa take out food. This week, I had a wrong take out order on Monday. Egg white sandwich not when I ordered with tomato and spinach. Today, DD order, was wrong. Italian hoagie vs a Turkey hoagie that I ordered. Really aggravating.

They gave me 3 pieces of lettuce on my classic hoagie and 1 jalapeño pepper. when i told the managers on duty tonight, they disregarded everything i said and went and hid in their office. if you can’t provide any customer service, maybe the managerial position is not suitable for you.

Best convenience chain in the country. Wish I had one in NY. Always stop for subs and pastries whenever ones around
