Good Time Donut - Ventura

If you're in search of a quick breakfast or a delightful treat, make sure to stop by this place! We arrived in Ventura early to catch a boat to Channel Islands National Park and wanted to grab a bite before we set off. Since time was limited and not many restaurants were open yet, we needed something more substantial than regular fast food but with more flavor than the reheated options at Starbucks. We initially went to Vons but stumbled upon this charming shop next door! The ham, egg, and cheese croissants were fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and just the right temperature. They also had a wonderful selection of donuts for a snack later on. The women running the front were incredibly friendly and enjoyed chatting with us. As we savored our breakfast, we watched them warmly greet locals and engage in the authentic conversations that come from regulars who return day after day. If the locals love it, you know it has to be good!

They offered to make a fresh cinnamon sugar donut for us when we didn't find one in the display case! It was incredible. The donut was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend this place!

I visited this place for breakfast with my nephew one morning. He chose the apple fritter, and I went for the jalapeño, ham, and cheese croissant. Both were fantastic! The coffee was decent, but the pastries more than made up for it.

The donuts are so delicious here because they use quality oil and change it regularly the owners are so gracious and nice
