Pacifico Restaurant & Lounge @ Marriott Ventura Beach

The food was very good. A little pricey but the service was excellent. Unfortunately there was a private party going on so we had to sit downstairs in the bar area. Next time I would like to sit in the regular dining area or out on the beautiful patio.

The party on the patio was very noisy and the staff kept opening the door, making our table difficult to enjoy. So we asked to be moved.

This was my first time at Pampano. Overall it was great. Portions of food might have been a little smaller than expected but was delicious, and we really wish that happy hour was not just at the bar. But it's all good.

We were only given the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not the 7:30 reservation we wanted. However, when we arrived for our 7:15 reservation, we were kept waiting for half an hour. While the staff was apologetic, they did not offer us a complimentary after-dinner coffee or any other form of apology. This lack of customer service does not make us eager to return. Apart from this, the rest of the service was good, although we were taken aback when the waiter suggested the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 without informing us of the price.

This beautiful restaurant is a must if you are in New York City! Our experience, friends from Florida and Missouri together for a lovely evening. The staff is outstanding, the food is excellent and dining outside is a must, weather permitting! Thank you Pampano!
