My friend and I ate there this past Sunday afternoon (07/30/17), and aside from the few bites of an appetizer I ordered (which was alright), I really cannot
I made a reservation for 7:30. It was my son's birthday. We also stayed at the River Crab Hotel. We sat at 7:45 am. At 8:05 a.m. nobody had come to our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send a waitress. 8:30 no waitress got up yet and asked the hostess to send a waitress please. 8:40 no one yet. Each waitress distributed the table like we weren't even there. I was so upset we got up and left the restaurant and went somewhere else. There were four of us and my son's birthday was totally ruined !!!!! I have never been treated so badly in a restaurant in my life. I will be sure to tell my friends about the terrible service we received. NO apologies for this kind of service !!!!!!!!!
For a large restaurant the noise was minimal. There is enough space between the tables so that you don't have to hear someone else's conversation. This seems like a welcome feature in most Landry restaurants. Their prices are the highest we've seen in most of the better restaurants, including Landry restaurants. Most of what we paid, including a 20% tip, was $ 100. In Florida we go to your kind of restaurant once a month. Our $ 128 bill at the River Crab limits us to viewing it as a special occasion restaurant only.
4th of July weekend; Sunday brunch. The service was exceptional (Maria) and the food was above average. Great view of the river and boats; Sitting on the deck is best. The food would get 5 stars if everything was identifiable and the roast beef carved thinner. Everything else; Great !
