Tasty China - Ventura

Found this place through DoorDash and so glad it lived up to its name! Ordered fish with tofu just opening up the container, I could already tell it's good, the aroma of all the spices just make your mouth water in anticipation! They were very generous with the portion, actually gave me 1 quart and a half and they included rice without asking and at no extra charge!! These days it's a rarity and that is so much appreciated. Tofu was silky and fish was amazing, combined these and the sauce with rice it's heaven with a slight tingle from the Sichuan peppers! Will definitely be back to try more!

I love this place! Every dish I have ordered there was simply delicious! I particularly love the steamed dumplings which are very juicy. And it is very reasonably priced, especially the lunch specials. Staff is always very friendly too, so all in all a real winner and highly recommended!

By far the best Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) I’ve ever had in the United States, and I’ve been to NYC, LA, Seattle, SF, you name it. The rest of the menu is incredible as well, there was not a single food item that I’ve not absolutely loved. As someone who was born in China and goes back often, the food here is about as close as you can get to true, authentic Chinese food. Not only that, but the owner is an incredibly sweet woman, absolutely recommend this place to everyone!!! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem of a restaurant!!!

Found our new Chinese spot!My boyfriend and I always order the pork xiao long bao, dan dan noodles, and the kung pao chicken and it’s amazing every time! We have dined in and ordered takeout a few times now and the staff is always friendly, the portions are perfect, and the food is delicious. Definitely will be ordering from here in the future!
