Ventiki is a little off the beaten path of Main street. I almost thought I had missed it or something because it feels a bit hidden away even though it's on a corner. But I have a feeling it's more visible at night with lights and all that. I sat at the bar in the middle of the day on a Friday. The bar was pretty full and there were a few people seated outside as well. I loved the mood lighting at the bar. And they had TVs on too. One of the bartenders was new and training that day, but both women were super friendly and made me feel right at home. I think I ordered The Fuzz (honestly, it's been a while, so let's just go with that). The drink was delicious and very strong as tiki drinks tend to be. I tried to savor it until my food came. I love the type of crushed ice they use in their drinks. And all the little embellishments on the drink were so cute. I also had the chicken chipotle tostada because I just wanted a little snack to hold me over til later. It was the perfect amount of food and was really tasty. I ate every bite. One of the couples next to me ordered a boozy dole whip, and I was so tempted to try one, but I had to get back to the train station. Til next time, Ventiki!
Oh, my goodness! I had middle of the road expectations, arrived and thought, ****! This place is a dive/dump! It is NOT! It's small, could be cleaner, but the atmosphere, service, drinks, and appetizers could not have been better! Returning!
Love the Lanai ,,, ,,, but please don 't tell anyone else ... Ohana only Please . ? For Serious.... It 's really hard to get seating , so be prepared to be turned away entirely during busy times . The limited tables fill up , and do not always turn over anytime soon . And if the kitchen or bar gets overwhelmed? They simply cease taking orders .... Which is realistic... So as they say on the island : so if you wanna nosh on some grindage here you gotta chill, Bradduh ?
What a great bar! The mixed drinks are strong. uber here and enjoy all that you can endure. The food is a perfect balance to keep you this side of STUPID. Good luck Cheers
Curious about the standard vodka, I asked the bartender, Kaitlyn, what the well pour was, and she informed me it was Gruven, a small-batch potato vodka imported from Poland. She assured me it was quite good, so I decided to give it a try instead of my usual Tito's. I'm so glad I did! Tito's, watch out—I'll be sticking with Gruven from now on! I quickly enjoyed this delectable drink. After a while, I moved to a table on the patio, as I was getting some off vibes from the woman sitting next to me at the bar. My friendly and cheerful waitress, Heidi, brought me my chipotle chicken onigiri. While I found them quite tasty, I wasn't a fan of the eel sauce that came with them. I asked Heidi for a different option, and she recommended a hot pepper sauce, which I decided to try. I also took one onigiri home. I ordered a second Chi Chi, which I savored, leaving the experience feeling quite happy.
