You walk in, and there's the bed. The room is probably equivalent to the size of a large, roomy master bedroom in your home. There was a window AC that was fairly new and clean. But it allowed highway traffic noise into room. I was told by the manager (Raj) that central AC is in the works. The room had electric heat, which did work well. It takes a good 3-5 minutes for the hot water to arrive in the shower. It's not hot, hot, but bearable.. If you're looking for a clean, economical place to stay for just an overnight, I would recommend this facility. The best part of our stay was talking to the manager Raj and his wife Nipul. They were both very nice. Nipul does a great job of cleaning the rooms. I would probably lodge there again just because of them.
We stayed here for one night before going to Santa's Village nearby. I felt uncomfortable having my six year old sleep here. The motel is confusing. The beds are quite comfortable, the shower is hot and has amazing pressure, and the toiletries are high end. But then there was no heat, the wall under the window was covered in black mold, the room stinks like old cigarettes, the tv had sound but no picture, the floors under the new laminate are squishy, and the bathroom is pretty gross. It wouldn't be too hard to look a lot better quickly for example, the bathroom would have been quite easily updated by a coat of paint and a drain trap in the sink. It largely seemed surface clean but I couldn't shake the feeling that we were all breathing in decades of mold and cigarettes. This place needs a lot of work before it can be called redone.
Nice retro motel in Lancaster NH. Very friendly and helpful staff. We went for 2 nights mid September. First room was a queen bed with small table and chairs, dresser, tv, fridge and microwave but the roof leaked so we were moved to a room with 2 queen beds. No table but 2 chairs, tv, fridge and microwave. WiFi is good, heat and a/c. Small bathroom but it worked for us. Beds were comfortable, room was comfortable but could use a small table and a small dresser. You do hear trucks on the main road. Walls are brick walls so not paper thin. There is basic continental breakfast with coffee. There is a night club open a few nights a week but we didn't go. In the center of the town, walking distance to restaurants.
Very low ceilings, tiny bathroom, door would not shut completely, and would open, must prop it to keep closed, no exhaust fan either. The sink and vanity are smaller than what would be expected in a small camper or Childs playhouse. Room smelled of cigarette smoke but had asked for non smoking room. beds were comfortable but floors were dirty, hair in sink, and drain seemed to be clogged. TV cable didnt work, we were told to call Verizon for help. We thought that was weird. Lancaster is a great little town, the shops and restaurants were great, the people were nice except the lady behind the desk she was very rude when we tried to explain our disappointments in the room, and basically told us we couldnt write a review because they had last say ?? rude should be her name tag. we will return to Lancaster in the future, but we will avoid the Lancaster Motel. and would not recommend it to anyone.
Hi, I made the mistake staying here in August. After being out of my room for a few hours I came back to my room where my medications were missing. No apologies and they charged my credit card after that too. Shady and very dirty rooms. Had a dead moth in one of the beds. Be very careful staying here they use an old fashioned room key for the doors.
