We chose this restaurant because the server pulled us in off the street, and...since everything looked the same, we thought, what the hell? My husband got a shrimp cocktail, and I got a fish plate (fish fillet stuffed with shrimp, lobster, and squid, topped with cheese). We enjoyed the food, and enjoyed the atmosphere of sitting on the beach. We sure had a surprise when we got the bill. For example, the piña colada was advertised as pesos, and it comes in a pineapple shell, but was actually (apparently they charge to put tequila in a piña colada). The waiter also conveniently added for himself a nearly tip (though we were only two people). Although the service was a little slow, and the food expensive, my husband, having previously worked as a waiter, often leaves a tip if we liked the service (more if we really liked the service), but upon seeing that automatically added, we were rather annoyed. The point is that we enjoyed our time there...until the bill came. Since most places seemed comparable in price, and probably in quality, I would choose a different location if I had to do it again. I like to leave a place in good humor. Also, they don't accept credit cards, despite the slightly elevated prices.
This restaurant is located directly on the beach. the prices seemed to be comparable to the other restaurants in this place (which all palapa appear in the name). we have chosen this restaurant because the server has pulled us away from the street and. when everything looked the same, we thought what the devil? my man got a shrimp cocktail and I got a fish plate (fish fillet filled with garnel, lobster and tinted fish, embroidered with cheese). we enjoyed eating and enjoyed the atmosphere of sitting on the beach. we had a surprise when we got the bill. for example, the piña colada was advertised as 120 pesos, and it comes in a pineapple shell, but was actually 145 ( apparently loading tequila into a piña colada). the waiter also comfortably added an almost 15% tip for himself (although we were only two people). although the service was a bit slow and eating expensive, my man, previously worked as waiter, often leaves a 20% tip when we were the service (more if we really liked the service) but when we see that automatically added, we were quite upset. the point is that we enjoyed our time there. until the bill came. as most places seemed comparable in price, and probably in quality, I would choose another location if I had to do it again.
