Feedback gevenI was here a year ago and my review said to have the fillet steak. So I took my own advice and had one. Absolutely superb. As good a steak as you will get anywhere. Service was great too. A winner in my book.
Offers good local food and wine. Helpful and friendly staff with good English. Nice atmosphere. Great evening meal.
We stumbled across this place our first night, having no chance to reserve anywhere else before arriving. We found the food to be good, albeit expensive, but that is normal for this village in the height of the ski season. The only thing that marred the evening was a large table of really, really noisy and inconsiderate young people who seemed to revel in making the evening intolerable for the rest of us. The small size and poor acoustics of this small cellar restaurant made it hard to even have a conversation without shouting. The chef and waitstaff tried to calm this rowdy group down, as did some adjacent diners, but there was clearly no stopping them. I think it would have been considerate on the part of management had they offered us sufferers at least a glass of wine on the house for our suffering, but this was not forthcoming.
Slightly hard to find beneath the Millenium, but good tasty meats cooked over a fire grill served with skewers of vegetables. Nice cosy and warm atmosphere underground with good service, slightly pricey but hey you're in Verbier!
If you feel the need for a good steak, El Toro is a nice choice. Located below the Millenium, this a steak place with great service. A very nice experience!
