Baja Mexican - Verdi

We ate on 9/26/15 at this place inside Boomtown Casino. This was a small place, warm with no air circulating, the person behind the counter had a DIRTY apron and was alone handling food and money! My husband and I tried their 2 Taco Platter; I had the shredded beef and my husband the steak. I wanted pinto beans but this guy was out of almost everything so he gave me black beans. The food was DISGUSTING!!! The shredded beef was more like shredded FAT! And my husband's steak was COLD and also had some weird taste to it. I did not finish my plate, it was too disgusting to eat and gave me nauseas. My husband was too hungry so he ate it but made him sick later on. This place should be SHUT DOWN! For unsanitary conditions! We will NEVER stop at Boomtown ever again! What a mistake! Disgusting!!!

This place is simply awsum. We stopped here for lunch on our way home from Reno the friendly couple who runs this place us very nice. The atmosphere is no frills but clean. I had the shredded steak burreto with tender marinaded shredded steak, cheese, celantro, black beans, rice, jalapinos, sour cream, green chili in a fresh tortilla; sumpsuously fresh, tasty spicy. The prices are reasonable. Everyone enjoyed their food. So, for excellent Mexican at reasonable prices in a no frils yet clean atmosphere with friendly service, Baja cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.

This place is horrible if I could I would give negative stars. Baja Mexican is located inside Boomtown casino and is not a good at all. First of all you walk in and it looks more like subway where everything is been sitting out in little containers. I ordered chicken enchiladas and the person there made them on the little ghetto assembly line then placed them in a microwave. Last time I checked authentic Mexican food doesn 't come out of a microwave. The only good thing about this place is the customer service just kidding it 's as bad as their food. I would not recommend you going to this shack it 's disgusting.
