Verdigre Bakery

This bakery is known for kolatches, and I mean well-known. The kolaches were out a bit late when we got there and we had to wait. We weren't the only ones. A little community formed that was friendly and hungry. The reward was hot kolaches fresh out of the oven. Don't think efficiency. Think rural Nebraska community and you will have a wonderful experience.

Love love love stopping in on Saturday mornings and getting my peanut butter donut. All of the goodies are soft and flavorful. The coffee is fresh and the folks that run the shop are always welcoming and kind. No complaints from me.

The dough on the kolaches and rolls is so tasty. Everything I’ve tried is great, but I’m partial to anything with poppyseed. Whatever you choose, you can’t go wrong. Their gift certificates make great presents for any occasion.

Truly a one of a kind place. Made from scratch baked goods and doughnuts.

Had a wonderful experience here. The blueberry filled donut like pastries were amazing and I always gotta get my 12 pack of kolaches to go.!
