Les Enfants Terribles - Verdun

Our waiter (who presented himself as such) never really waited for us. someone else finally took our order, but we got courses in the wrong order, and never got some of our appetizers. the food we have received lasted very long until. come and was lukewarm. we were told at every cure (also for simple coffee) that there was a miscommunication with the kitchen. we had to ask several times (nicely) for simple things like water, utensilien, pfeffer, etc. I understand that the restaurants in these days are short occupied, but this did not seem the problem here we saw a large number of employees, only none that seemed to be assigned to our table! Our bill was high, and we left a good tip because we understand that they work hard, but our experience was disappointing.

I'm an extremely sensitive celiac that rarely goes anywhere when I'm not sure not getting sick. I also have celiac friends who have eaten a few times from this chain without being sick. I had. a day or two before I wanted to make sure that the place was safe to eat a zöliakie. I was assured by the employees via the phone that I would be sure and that there are gluten-free options on their brunch/lunch menu. I was also told that the brot they had for some of the dishes could be extracted for gluten-free bread and cooked in a seperate gluten-free toaster. the menu marks something gluten-free and the staff/kitchen seemed very good to know which dishes contain gluten and whether there was cross-contamination in the kitchen with some of the dishes. confidently I ordered 2 eggs with speck and one side of obst, crispy kartoffels and gluten-free bread. that was very short and the food looked delicious. the personal had told me that the crispy carrots were not cooked for me, as they could not be sure that they were completely gluten-free. after approx. 3/4 hours eating I started feeling very sick and spent a series of hours very sick to my liking. at the time of writing this review, the resteraunt had asked to apologize for the meal and had explained that traces of gluten could come from employees who touched and served regular gluten bread. overall my rating is 3 stars. that's just because I get sick, even though I'd be insured, I'd be sure to eat here. Apart from that, the entire atmosphere of the resteraunt is amazing. the menu is very diverse and seems there is something for everyone. the waiting staff was very friendly and the inner one was cozy. not only the food looked delicious, but my family had enjoyed their meals. if they are not celiac, I would recommend this resteraunt to try at least once in their lives. I would, however, point out to be cautious, or at least aware that cross-contamination may occur.

The New Year's Eve order from the basket! it was excellent and a great worth! I don't think it would cost me a little less to make it myself. the presentation was excellent and the short ribs were super delicate. they get kudos that they've become stronger during the Kovid. I will definitely take more of them!

As we moved into the neighbourhood, we really wanted to like this place. in the did pre-Covid her Monday night buck a cuck was great. since the reopening we tried to try their disappointment twice and were really disappointed. we finally have a brunch at a sunny day in their restaurant. Pity that the commands were wrong, even worse that one had a hair in it, fortunately, when my chair suddenly collapsed the helpful staff said it happened from time to time. Do you think it's time to buy new chairs before someone gets hurt? oh and no mention or offer of compensation for the experience. it's really too bad, I really wanted to like it.

In spite of the tortuous route there through changing road detours (use GPS if you are unfamiliar with the geography) we found the brasserie. A very attractive modern layout and decor. A very appealing menu of brasserie comfort food and fair drinks by the glass...prices from beer to calvados. We enjoyed, grilled octopus, 1/2 cornish hen, shepherd's pie, an immense hamburger, pouding chomeur and excellent fries. All were delicious and served by a very friendly waiter. Will definitely return.
