Pho Bac No 1 - Verdun

We've been going here for years and it's been consistently good, they've even improved a few things like putting in a tiled floor and decreasing he saltiness of the pho. They haven't put their prices up despite inflation (especially on meats), they may want to increase prices and in order to keep up the quality as the sides and size of meat has shrunk a bit. Still love going, great casual dining and BYOW. Never had an issue.

We've had some pretty good experiences here but when we received our delivery tonight the food was awful. I ordered extra large chicken tonkinoise and xl won ton. We received a large won ton and no chicken in the tonkinoise. In fact there was even a piece of beef in the soup. I called to try to correct it but they disregarded my call. Anyway, I won't be calling them anymore. Too bad, they really lost their way.

I've been on the search for this type of restaurant since two of my favorite places closed. Pho Bac No. 1 offers similar cuisine at very reasonable prices. The dining room is vast, the service efficient, and food quality top notch.

I like Vietnamese restaurants. This is a good one. Nice service, Nice food, Nice price. I strongly recommend. Bring your wine.
