The three of us split 5 plates and sides; of the plates: Scallops were perfectly seared, but accompanying Brussels sprouts were blanched. Pistachio pesto gnocchi was very nice and suitability rich. Beef tartare was excellently seasoned though missing the egg yolk. Mushroom tartare was bland and not well defined in its flavors. The standout was the trout fillet served raw, ultra fresh and bursting with flavors, perfectly topped with its delicate skin dry fried separately. Another standout was the baba negroni. Carrot cake was well executed with perfect cream topping, but short on some advertised cardamom.
Came here for a last minute dinner date. It was quite lively, and the atmosphere felt like a cozy and casual neighbourhood resto, down to the mismatched furniture and chipped vintage plates. We had a reservation, but we were seated somewhere not very ideal (middle of the room, uneven table), and could not switch when we asked. Oh well. The food was not too bad we ordered the foie gras, braised beef cheek, and beef tartare. Most of these were quite tasty the foie gras with the mustard caviar was great, and the beef tartare quite creative (it had hazelnuts a nice twist). The fries were so so. My partner, however, said that the beef cheek was meh . Portions were quite small. Overall, a bit of a mismatch between the overall laidback ambience, small portions and the relatively high price at the end I understand the vibe they are striving for, but we expected a bit more.
Great food. Good service, though it is a pity the dishes don’t come together. Portions should be a little bigger.
Food was amazing. it was very busy, I don’t know if there where short staff but the service was long. Every one loved there plates both the cold and hot.
