Located on the busy commercial street of Nun's Island, this fast food restaurant specializes in Middle Eastern cuisine. I have lost count of how many chicken pitas or plates I have ordered from here. It is my go-to spot for a quick and convenient meal. The sauce is quite rich, so I can't eat too much of it.

Great experience with the staff. Always friendly.The food is simple and you get what you expect. I particularly like the rice at this Nun's Island location. I was disappointed when I ate at another Amir because they didn't have the same type of rice.Ask for a plate to go, they put more rice and potatoes in your plate. ;)

I thought Amir at Île-des-Soeurs would be a better location than the others just because the island is an excellent place by itself.The restaurant has nothing more than any other Amir. Same junk food you can buy anywhere. It will be the last time when I will step inside thinking that Amir offers more.
