Baird's Tavern - Vernon

The building itself is like a mini museum, sometimes there is a tour, but there wasn’t one when we were there….must visit if you are in they area.

Beautiful historic tavern on main street in Warwick. The tavern has a rich history during colonial time period and was visited by George Washington. Inside the decor reflects this period and has plenty of seating areas in a variety of settings including outdoor seating. There were about 8 or so beers on tap when we went and the service was excellent. Will be visiting again when I'm in town.

Historical landmark converted into a local pub with a cool atmosphere and friendly service. A really cool place. And they have something extra that I have never seen before. They have a mug club. Personalized mugs are kept at the location for you and you alone for a fee. Every time you go, the bartender serves you in your own mug. They also have mug nights and mug owners get a discount.

I stopped on for Broadway at Bairds (1st Monday every month). What a wonderful location with a fabulous shady back porch and garden to sit and enjoy a refreshment. Steeped in history, totally inclusive. Great staff. Loved it!

My boyfriend took me here and we had a wonderful time. We've come back twice since then and I'm going to try to get him to take me tonight. Drinks are awesome, bartenders are friendly and warm, space is beautiful. I love it here!
