The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and welcoming, but the food leaves something to be desired. It resembles the type of food one might find in a nursing home - lacking in spice and often served frozen or from a box, such as macaroni and cheese. The cafeteria-style meat and two sides is a rather bland experience. However, the standout dish is the cobbler. They offer homemade versions with various fruit options like peach, blackberry, strawberry, apple, sweet potato, and my personal favorite, chocolate. Overall, it's a decent and affordable option for lunch, as long as you don't mind the mediocre food.

The food at this place was incredibly delicious...it almost made me want to miss my flight back to California! I was craving authentic soul food during my visit and this restaurant truly delivered.
