The Glenwood (formerly Smokey's Tavern)

They are not quite up and running yet, so the menu items were limited. The place was clean and cute, and the service was good. Unfortunately, the food wasn't. I ordered a medium-rare burger, and it was anything but that. It was very well done, and the bun was dry, too. I couldn't even finish it. I won't go back as it was pricey for what we received.

First time trying out the Glenwood, the atmosphere decor are very nice. The food is good and the service was wonderful. I’d say it’s a little pricey for what you get, but everything is now a days. The crispy calamari was the best! Also got the ribs fish sandwich. The sandwich could’ve used a sauce, otherwise the fish was delicious cooked perfectly. Looking forward to checking out the downstairs area next time I go.

Oh how I want to like this place since it's local for me and the decor is beautiful. Stopped here after a hike with a friend. The hostess and the waitress were friendly. I ordered a veggie pizza which claimed to have 4 veggies: peppers, eggplant, onion and mushrooms. When it came out it had minimal veggies, there were like 5 tiny pieces of pepper and no eggplant. When I asked why there is no eggplant I was told that they ran out, which is fine but I felt like they could have added more peppers or mushrooms to make up for it. Otherwise it was barely a veggie pizza and looked very sad. For the price of it, not worth it. As I was leaving I noticed some friends that came in so I decided to grab a beer from the bar and join them, the bartender was totally ignoring me as she was too busy chatting away and then finally when I got her attention she acted so annoyed that she had to pour me a beer. It's a shame as this place has potential.

We asked for a to go box and it had a Maggot inside still paid regular price. Just got an I’m sorry from the waitress and would you like a free desert? The runners took the box and said “yea that gross!” $93.00 for gross! Left the food there in the to go boxes!

Waited for the food to come out for more than expected. The known chicken wings were very bad and not cooked all the way. The spinach dip was bad and too cheesy. Chicken quesadillas no taste at all just cheese inside with some little pieces of chicken. All the other family members were all very disappointed with there meals as well. The one star review is only to help improve and for no bad reason. The working staff are all very polite and take good care of all customers. This was my experience at glenwood. I was there a couple years back when it was Smokey’s and it was way better.
