BX Creek Bar & Grill - Vernon

The restaurant's garden courtyard, with its lush tropical plants and a natural stream running through the atrium, provides a lovely ambiance. We had a pleasant dinner and breakfast the following morning in this space. For our meal, we ordered a Rueben sandwich, fish and chips, and Eggs Benedict. While the food was decent, it did not quite meet our expectations. The service was lacking, with seemingly inexperienced staff members and slow service despite the restaurant not being busy. The high prices may be due to the ambiance, as they do not necessarily reflect the quality of the dishes.

I recently visited The Lodge for dinner and tried their summer dinner promotion for the second time. The atmosphere, surrounded by plants and trees, is beautiful and the sounds were soothing. The attentive server made our dining experience even better. We specifically came back for the summer promotion and enjoyed a generous portion of Caesar salad with delicious herbed and possibly fried bread. The main course, meant for two, included Chicken Marsala with creamed mushroom sauce, grilled NY strip steak with cream mustard sauce, and a variety of grilled vegetables and potatoes. We paired our meal with a bottle of Peller Estates Shiraz or Chardonnay for only $49.99, which was a great deal considering the quality of the food. The meal was served on a heated plate with individual utensils, which added to the overall experience. The promotion is available Sunday through Wednesday throughout the summer, and I hope to enjoy it again. My only suggestion would be to have plates that keep the hot food warm at the table. Overall, I highly recommend this dinner promotion for a fantastic meal for two.

The restaurant formerly known as BX Creek Bar and Grill has now been rebranded as The Lodge. We were rudely informed that this change occurred a few years ago. The menu at The Lodge is more limited and prices are higher compared to what is advertised online for BX Creek. It is surprising to see reviews for BX Creek on this platform, with some as recent as last month.

My Hubby and I had a delicious dinner at BX Creed Bar Grill. It has a beautiful, romantic environment. The service was good and the food delicious. I ordered the salmon with apple chutney and my Hubby ordered the New York steak with...Mushrooms. Both were served with inlaid garlic potatoes and freshly steamed asparagus. We enjoyed a delicious Mud Pie in the house for the occasion. Thank you. This restaurant has passed through BX Creek, such a beautiful area to take photos as it also has live trees and leaves with lights.

Paid 75$ for dinner and live entertainment,entertainment was great, food was laughable. There was not one vegetable on the Buffett, pasta salad seemed to be missing dressing, then there was some kind of pork cutlet, terrible. There was spaghetti and meatballs, the spaghetti was way...over cooked and seem to have canned crushed tomatoes on it , tasteless. The meatballs were ok. Then there was pot roast first time I've seen overlooked pot roast and topped off with boiled potatoes. The consensus of our group was worst meal we ever paid for in vernon in our 33years here. The the up side banquet staff were great. Won't be back
