Kal's Naan Stop - Vernon

This place hit the spot! My sisters and I are visiting from California where food options are abundant so our standards for quality is up there.

Was driving through and getting gas, and realized I hadn't eaten yet, so I figured why not stop here for lunch.

Delicious fresh Indian food cooked to order with large portions and reasonable prices.

Finally got to try this place. I hear so many great things. The pizza had the perfect crust. The fusion of indian and pizza was unlike any pizza I can remember tasting. It is so hard to deliver a pizza that tastes new. Pizza is usually pizza but the butter chicken pizza had bold flavours and perfectly even toppings with just the right amount of cheese.My favorite is fisk pakhora. It was light and crispy and the mint sauce was delicious. Thanks for a yummy dinner. In too full to tell you yet about the samosas :) Im assuming they are as yummy as the rest of this heavenly delivery.

Kal is a great cook and her whole family helps run the restaurant. Loved the lamb curry, butter chicken, pakora appetizer, and spicy hot chai--want to come back and try other dishes! It's a simple place, sharing parking lot with a gas station, but warm and homey. Kal has painted the walls and windows with her own Indian designs. Kal and family are friendly and welcoming. We've been there twice and look forward to next time.
