Shahi Pakwan - Vernon

Absolutely amazing! Food was great, they even did an off the menu item for us since it's our favorite. Most places won't! The prices are fantastic, dinner for 3 and a ton of leftovers for $45. And best part was the customer service! Lady at the till I assume one of the owners? was so friendly and nice! This will be our go to spot for Indian from now on! ??

Great taste and decent portion sizes. The dinning area needs a bit of work still, there?s exposed drywall and 2x4?s. Even though the decor is lacking the flavour is not! although there are some amazingly impressive wooden cushioned chairs and impressive stained glass work! This is a great take out place. #skipTheDishes

Their food is BUSSIN bussin but I wouldn't recommend getting delivery because I've had a good few times where I ordered food and it never showed up. But, if you're picking up, it's the best in town for getting maximum bang for your buck. The portions are enormous and the flavour slaps. Definitely better than Mr. Mike's.

Decent pricing and portion sizes. Our vindaloo and tikka masala were okay but the butter chicken was barely edible, it's like it had 10x the correct amount of one of the seasonings and it was very unpleasant as a result. The saffron rice tasted offensively like hot plastic as if it had been cooked in the container we took it home in, while the regular rice was dried and stale. The samosas were okay but overall I don't think I'll return because half of what we ordered didn't live up to expectations.

I love Shahi Pakwan, they serve the best curry in the Okanagan! My personal favourite is the lamb coconut curry, it 's so delicious I literally cried. Thank you Shahi Pakwan for the large All-you-can-eat serving portion and the rice and Nan bread are cooked perfectly.
