American Icon Brewery - Vero Beach

What and awesome brewery. Set in a historical diesel power plant, next to the tracks in downtown Vero beach, circa 1920's. An amazing old building with a full bar and dine in restaurant with a great menu. A must see stop especially for the craft beer connoisseur. Fun atmosphere with friendly staff and nice clean facility. Be sure to try a flight of their award winning brews then stop in the gift shop and take home some of your favorite beer. Highly recommend.

Visiting family and they recommended meeting here for dinner, because we enjoy craft beer. This place was awesome! Really cool location and building with fun atmosphere. We had wonderful service and the food and beer were solid. I enjoyed the steak and rice bowl immensely and almost all the beers were really tasty. Their hazy is not really hazy so that was a bonus for me. All in all a cool experience.

I moved to Vero a year ago from Australia and went here tonight for the first time. Got the nachos which were MASSIVE and so good and the icon burger. Burger was cooked perfectly and their sauce was amazing. Customer service was outstanding and the staff were so friendly. Highly recommend the rainbow sherbet beer!!

Had the day off and decided to take myself out for lunch! It was gorgeous out so I sat outside and had some wings and a couple beer. The wings weren’t very meaty, so they were a little over priced (and I am from NYC and still saying that) but the sauce was delicious! Then I had the blackberry/hibiscus wheat and an IPA. Both so yummy! It was happy hour for the second beer so it was only 4 dollars I think? Anyway, I will be heading back and most likely having a burger because I saw so many walk by me and they looked incredible!

This is quite a massive place with one of the old giant diesel engines as the back drop to the main bar. This is really impressive and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Fire Pits outside to enjoy good conversation with friends and family. When in Vero Beach this is definitely a have to stop by and visit and enjoy a good meal and times with your circle of friends and family.
