The food and service (Heather, our server) was impeccable. We started with the baked brie pastry-which was THE best we have ever had. The cheese wasn't too runny and the side sauce complemented the dish nicely. The Caesar salad was very good, as was the homemade soup. We were completely blown away by the duck-highly recommend that meal-cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. Looking forward to returning soon!
My wife and I had one of the best dining experiences we have had since we me moved to Vero two years ago. Everything from the homemade bread to the limoncello gelato dessert and everything in between was just perfectly delicious. I had frog legs for the first time and they were just unreal. Shout out to Danielle, our server, for spot on service. If you’ve never been, please try this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.
Unbelievable prices for the quality of food. We paid $300 for a party of 4. French onion soup had no flavor at all, cheese was skimpy and bread was so hard it could not be eaten. We had 4 different entrees and they were all average or worse. Wait staff were inexperienced and ambiance was average. I've never seen such a mismatch between food quality and pricing. I'm angry, angry, angry.
My original review: Unbelievable prices for the quality of food. I'm 58 years old, a multi-millionaire, and full-time world traveler. I've eaten in many Michelin star restaurants over the years. My family patronized your place in good faith. I'm sorry if it hurts, but Chez Frenchies is not yet fine dining (perhaps YOU need to get out more). I hope you get there. We sat next to people at another table who were also complaining about the lack of flavor in the food. I'm not alone in my review. Nevertheless, I recognize that nobody can please everyone, but I'm no neophite when it comes to good food. If I'm expecting a fine dining experience, I want tasty food, great service and comfortable environment. I got bland, inexperienced and average.
