Lucla Cafe - VERONA

Was so sorry to only find this place on our last evening of a week's stay in Verona...and it was just around the corner from our apartment! Stopped by for a couple of very good negroni and they were served with a nice selection of snacks. Excellent value. Lovely staff, very welcoming. Go visit :

This is the one and only gay bar in Verona. There is a dance club that is open on the weekends on the other side of the river called Romeo 's: pronounced rowmayos . Besides that there are monthly parties at various places but you need to be in the know. If you 're gay and in a Verona you MUST check out Lucla cafe. If you 're from out of town don 't judge. Remember this is the one and only gay bar in a city that 's not 100% accepting. The owner is very brave and should be commended and supported.
