Old Wild West - VERONA

Much like others we wanted a break from pizza and pasta and weren’t in a very central location so we walked to this restaurant. There were three maybe four tables with customers when we arrived. The staff’s English was pretty limited which wasn’t a problem but they didn’t come across as particularly friendly. When our meals arrived we had to ask for the basic condiments and cutlery. The food wasn’t terrible or unpleasant but it was definitely not the best meal we had had. For a restaurant that could be buzzing with the theme etc. the atmosphere was pretty flat. Wouldn’t recommend.

We went for a quick lunch, taking a break from Italian pizza and pasta. What a mistake! Service was slow and drink arrived after food and we had to remind the waiter about the starter we ordered. Assorted wings, sticks, onion rings etc all clearly from frost, directly to the deep fryer and then the table. Not great!! Two of us ordered burgers. Buns were super dry, very little salad. Bacon only have cooked. The paddy was actually okay. The third was more lucky, ordering mixed grill of beef and chicken. That was okay. But bottom line: we should have stayed with pizza and pasta or, McDonald’s, if we insisted on burgers. And that is scraping the bottom...

We were in the shopping centre with some time spare before flying home and thought food here would be better than the airport. We were not disappointed. Both the Cheyenne chicken and the BBQ chicken were lovely. The staff and service were really good. With our poor Italian and their small amount of English we got by well. They even went to look for Limoncello as the wife asked for a Limoncello spritz, which is not on their menu. Considering this is probably a chain I was not expecting such good service.

Lentissimi. Sembra una prerogativa degli OWW. Minimo 30/40 min d'attesa calcolati ogni volta. Senza prendere antipasti. Forse c'è qualche problema di base in cucina.

Mercoledi 03 gennaio,provenienti da Milano e diretti a Padova,ci siamo fermati a visitare questo centro commerciale.Volendo cenare con qualche cosa di diverso,abbiamo optato per questo ristorante. Cibo buono,servizio attento e cordiale. Responsabile del ristorante molto simpatica,ben organizzata,educatissima.Complimanti a lei e al suo staff,raramente al giorno d'oggi si è trattati in modo così empatico.Ripasseremo alla prima occasione.
