Osteria Caffe Ripasso - VERONA

Outside the central tourist area a kilometre to the west, a fantastic find. Small but very interesting menu with beautiful freshly cooked food. Made to feel very welcome. Would highly recommend, Prices much lower and quality much higher than the central tourist areas

Osteria Ripasso is a lovely place to eat or drink in an unlikely area. Just off the main road heading out of town towards Lake Garda, its neighbours are busy supermarkets and gas stations but don't let that put you off. Free parking outside (can't find that within Verona's walls and a warm, friendly atmosphere inside. A tempting short menu gives you ample choice from some interesting riffs on local classics (being December, the Cotechino Wellington starter was an inspired take on this traditional fatty sausage , with excellent local wines to go alongside. We were surrounded by locals enjoying a long, pre holidays lunch and felt very well looked after. The desserts were well worth the extra effort traditional, pretty and very tasty. I think this might just become our new go to hangout when friends are in town... ;

Very good food, very tasty. This place worth to visit even if you are not close enough. Very good present from chef! Very good price, in center the same food will be 30-40% more!
