Upstate Tavern - Verona

I went out to dinner with my wife and we had quite the experience! She ordered the Philly cheesesteak with French fries and a harvest salad, while I tried the 20/21 deal, which was a harvest burger with cranberry aioli and it came with a side of mashed potatoes. The deal also included a beer and a free glass. My meal was excellent; however, my wife found her sandwich a bit dry. She ended up adding a lot of ketchup to improve it and mentioned she probably wouldn’t order it again. On the bright side, she loved her drink! We also shared a mocha brownie boozy milkshake, which was really tasty. We did have to wait 50 minutes for a table for two, but that was understandable since it was 5 PM on a Saturday. Overall, it was a nice evening out!

Food was reasonably priced for being in a casino. Good food in a nice place. Most dishes on menu you can get anywhere, burgers and the like but they do them well, and have a couple unique things.

The Upstate Tavern at Turning Stone Resort and Casino strikes a perfect balance between upscale and casual dining. I absolutely love this place, especially its modern barn-like interior. The waitstaff were extremely courteous and quick, and the restaurant itself was impeccably clean. I highly recommend trying the chicken jeans—delicious!

The restaurant has a lovely decor and a pleasant ambiance. The food, drinks, and service were all outstanding. I will definitely return when I'm in the area again.
