Moe's Original Bbq Vestavia Hills

I must say that I am usually relatively happy outside the long waiting times that wait for someone to come to the reception, most times I am in Moes. Typically, I come here to my lunch break to get half a pinch of either black eye beans or red beans and rice when they have them Since it is a well-rounded, well-rounded light meal that does not push me down in my working day. Today I went in and ordered a half pine of black eyes peas, after selecting my tip and paying for my order I was informed that they did not have black eyebrows. At this point, I said that I would want a refund and the rate of work. nt for his manager. The manager shows up and tells me that our guys are refunded $4.40 from my 7 some dollars I spent time I guess for some reason the man thought I would want another drink, even if I weren't eating anymore? Honestly, this is completely dishonest way to do business, because for a two dollar drink I should not leave a dollar some tip especially if my order was not correct, but this manager seemed more upset that he actually had to do something instead of asking me what I want, what a full refund was not a partial refund. Now I have to go to another food establishment and pay twelve to thirteen dollars for a meal and technically add the cost of this meal above for my today's lunch. Absolutely ridiculous and a completely dishonest way to do business. This interaction has completely lost my business with Moes. I hope they enjoy this free dollar some tip because they don't get another one!

Friday's special Blackened Maui Maui sandwich with boiler chips and banana pudding. So delicious and great atmosphere. Very recommended! Updated rating... still 5 stars! Yes, you can get the shrimps and Hushpuppies.

On 9/20/22 the woman I went to Moe's for dinner (Rocky Ridge Rd). She ordered catfish, potato salad, beans. I ordered shrimp, FF baked beans. My first bite was very disappointing. Nothing was hot. In fact, it was hardly warm. FF tasted as if they were taken out at room temperature. The best part of my meal was the sweet tea. The Catfish of the woman was hot, but the beans were like mine....bar warm. I should have sent it back, but we were a little short. I heated my home again. I have advised the manager at the service. He was sorry, BUT, he never offered me a fresh HOT court. I feel that customer service is not up on the list. We eat there quite regularly had good meals, but this time it was a disaster. We'll try again to see how it is. That was strike one!

Incredibly disappointing pickup. We used Doordash to order and I was to pick up on my way home. I was not able to pick up through the drive thru then went I went inside my food is not at the front but across the room in front of the outer doors where it could have easily been taken while no one was watching AND anyone could have done anything to it unknown. I did not feel respected as a takeout customer. Also the portions seem to be getting smaller but prices definitely are not adjusting. I hope the employees are fairly compensated.

Ice cold nachos with stale chips, not even cheese was warm. The wings were okay, but not worth the price. The sauce can only do so much. Avoid the bathroom at all costs or you might get a disease. Maybe its time to hire some professionals to clean the bathroom. Even at a bar I have never experienced that much filth. I pray the kitchen is not as filthy as the bathroom.
