So it was ok. Food was just about fine but during fiesta it felt as though we were being a bit pushed aside. Price was fine and staff a bit surly. Not in a hurry to go back.
I ate here while walking the Camino de Santiago. The pilgrim menu is over priced. To serve pasta using cheap tomatoe sauce from a carton is not good practice. The chicken and chips were okay but a few piementoes would have livened up the meal. Having said that , this is the one place where one can always get a meal and the owner is a friendly chap.
I ate here twice with friends and we found the food very good. The Paella for starters was excellent, for the 2nd course we all opted for the steak which was cooked to perfection. The young Rioja wine was very good. Great atmosphere and the waitress was really friendly and helpful she sat down with us and explained the menu in English. A 3 course meal with wine and coffee cost €15.
We took a pregrinus menu. It was excellent , the food was tasty and big. The waiters was very nice and helpful. We enjoy the meal very much. The wine was very good. We recommend this restaurant. Good music and atmosphere .
