Morue trop d'arêtes, saumon trop salé,légumes pas cuit ,je vous recommande la dorade,dommage pas assez de légumes avec. Service à la chaîne un petit sourire même à 15h aurait était un plus ....

If you like fish this one of the best restaurants in Viana for it. Simple decoration, clean and nice ambiance.

Viana has plenty of fish restaurants the problem is deciding on which one. Valentim is at the more about fish than the glamour end but nevertheless perfectly fine inside with a terrace at the back for warm lunchtimes. The menu is short but they have more depending on the catch when we visited fine Turbot was on offer. Amazing fish soup to start then Dover Sole which had the meaty texture missing with Lemon Sole although not a huge fish. Service is fine and supervised by a redoubtable lady; wine by the glass is both excellent, cheap and generous. Recommended.
