My father was a potato farmer so I know a thing or two about chips, without a doubt these were the finest chips this side of Christendom! The burger was sublime and the fried selection of mystery rissoles were cooked by an angel. The beer was colder then an artic winter and the tables cleaner than a Disney family movie. I don’t remember paying more than a handful of coins for the experience and to top it all I found some cooked mushrooms on the way out which I nibbled on my walk home. Viva Moodz!

The cafe is nice, food is ok, but I really don't understand why more than an hour is considered an acceptable waiting time for a couple of sandwiches. I guess they just don't realize people have places to be.

We visited Moodz several times during our holiday, mainly for a beer or two, however we decided to have lunch there one day, I had a burger XL which was fabulous with everything you could think of with it. My husband had the Portugese speciality, the Francesinha, which was enormous, very tasty with a spicy sauce. Together with a couple of beers the bill came to around 20 euros which was fantastic value for money. I would highly recommend this bar.
