Lotus - Viborg

Great place. We were met with smile and good humor. Got a table directed. The host was both flink and fun. We got little spring rolls, and they were really good. For the main dish we got a very large plate filled with chicken, noodles and vegetables. It was delicious. Certainly one place we can recommend.

Great service. Delicious and tasty food. A very positive experience. We will definitely come again if the trip once goes to Viborg.

Living in London, a city of major gastronomical influence and working as a chef, I didn’t expect much while visiting a restaurant located in the middle of nowhere, next door to the motel I’m isolating at. But I happily got to admit I was so far from correct on that expectation as possible. A mix of the hospitality provided (This was purely take away, and even then! and the deliciousness of the food, makes me sit here, rubbing my belly, with such a smile on my face. The food was superb, better than any Vietnamese food I had in London, perfectly cooked (Crunchy vegetables in take away? Oh yes and just good. I was waiting in the restaurant while my food was prepared and the owner made sure I felt welcome, even lend me a proper glass to take with me, so I didn’t have to drink my beer from the can. Who even does this? He did. Saturday night surprise, and what a good one it was.

This is very good Vietnamese restaurant in Viborg. It is owned by a couple (a Danish man and a Vietnamese woman). We like the food here very much. We also like the atmosphere here with many pictures, furniture and souvenirs from Vietnam.

This Vietnamese/Chinese/Fast Food-buffet restaurant is located right next to Motel Viborg, right along highway A26. The food is ok. It 's nothing fancy, but definitely not bad either. Their concept is low prices, and no waiters. You are greeted at the door, given a table and explained how it works. Basically it 's: Take a plate at the buffet, and fill it up. Take the beverages in the cooler. And bring you plates and cutlery back to the washer when done eating. But again, 29€ for two persons including a diet coke and a beer, in cheap in Denmark... If you are staying in the Motel next door, this is an easy way to get a nice dinner, without having to drive the 5 kilometres to Viborg centre. The only small negative point I have is the owner, who constantly hovers around the restaurant, and makes 'jokes ' around at the tables, like: Why did you take the 7,9% beer? I have a 10,5% beer in the fridge, it 'll make you drunk faster ...
