Agriturismo Villa Corona - VICENZA

We ate here with a very large group and really enjoyed it. The location is very nice. The food was excellent; we had many different dishes to choose from. Appetizers, pasta, many kinds of meat, risotto, roasted veggies, potatoes, desserts. Everything was good, flavorful, and they were good about bringing out cold water (and wine, prosecco).

We had visited this restaurant as part of a large group in August, but weren't overly impressed by the food, which is normal for any large group party. We decided to give it another try last night to see if we could give it a more favorable review. Since this is an agriturismo, much of the menu is derived from ingredients grown on the premises. We did not have an antipasto, but our primi were OK--nothing special..my husband had bigoli with duck sauce and enjoyed it and I had pappardelle with the house sauce...which was good, but not exceptional. Our second courses came with roasted potatoes, peas, salad, and polenta, but what made my dinner a resounding success was the filet with peppercorns which was the most tender and delicious that I ever remember eating! (and I've eaten many filets in my life! What a lovely surprise! My husband ate the tagliata which also was excellent and flavorful, although he agreed that my filet was more tender. Next time, I'll try to save room for dessert...will definitely go back when I'm in need of excellent beef...

This villa is perfect for big parties, especially for big parties with children. It is secluded and away from any major roads and has tons of running space for children to play safely. The food was a set menu, although they told us that everyone would be able to pick the first course, so there was a misunderstanding. The food was okay, nothing special or out of this world and the time between when they served the first course and second course was way too long. Over an hour. I think it was 10 pm when we finally for our second course of meats. When I requested for a Cappuccino to help me stay awake to drive home (by now it was 11:00 pm) the server was sort of rude about it. Oh well. Beautiful place for a summer meal if you are looking for outdoors and parking was easy, although the man made me re-park my car when there clearly was more than enough room.

Exceptional evening, elegant and cozy apartment with friendly staff, prepared and cared for. excellent menu ' extremely varied and suitable for all the goi. fast service and large parking. highly recommended.

Really good pizza meter and quality ingredients. with a meter of pizza you probably eat in three, in two maybe it is a bit too much but it was worth it! only defect in my opinion the menu too small pizza
