L'officina Wine Bar Restaurant

Perfect spot, service was excellent, food was delicious, nice atmosphere. From the moment we got there we felt special. One of the best restaurants in Vicenza!

Since I wrote my first review, i have been three additional times. It has always been excellent. The menu is only fish and seafood. Raw seafood, baked seafood, grilled seafood, pasta with seafood. On one visit, we had a small party and they set up a tasting menu of seafood and wines. One of my favorite dishes is the salt encrusted branzino.

It may be easy to overlook this restaurant as from the restaurant name and from the front of the restaurant, it doesn’t look like much. However, this is a world class fish restaurant. Three of us ordered various dishes and each one was delicious. They have a raw fish menu, they have grilled fish, they have pasta with seafood, baked fish. I was impressed as it wasn’t the same old fish menu. There were definitely some different, yet delicious combinations. The portion size was surprisingly large. They have a nice dessert menu, but we were too full to order any. And the wine list. It may be the best by the glass list I have seen in Italy. As with any fish restaurant, it isn’t cheap, but I don’t want to eat inexpensive fish and the prices were reasonable for what you get...I am not sure if they have food for kids, but most restaurants will make a pasta bianca. the only downside was that service was slow and it may be hard to find parking, though we found a spot right in front of the restaurant.

Posto molto accogliente, veramente ben fatto, i proprietari sono persone gentilissime, i piatti fatti e presentati con cura, squisito. pesce di qualità crudo, non meno cotto, accompagnato da un bel vino bianco fresco, tutto perfetto.
