Feedback gevenOn our first time in Vicenza we were looking for a quiet, off the tourist path, genuine local cuisine, and we found it here in Ponte delle Bele. The place is very warm and the service is impeccable. The plates were amazing, all freshy prepared and promptly served. One delicacy you must order for appetizer is Baccala Mantecato, a region delicacy if you like seafood. Everything, including the wines are at very modest prices. We were so satisfied that we returned on our last day in town for an encore. Here you get attended by the owners from the moment you step in to the last good bye, and yes, it was warmly felt. We know we'll be back to Vicenza and most definitively to Ponte delle Bele.
We were there for dinner a few weeks ago at this Vicenza gem. We chose the place based on the proximity to our hotel. The experience was pretty amazing. The décor is beautiful and authentic, but the food is out of this world. Everything from the appetizers, primi, secondi, and desserts was superb. The housewine, an outstanding Gewurztraminer was also amazing, and perfect match for the food. The host and staff are also superb, helpful and discreet. Overall, one of the best meals we had in Italy. The mixture of the local with the somewhat different SudTyrol Cuisine, both of them presented in their best possible form, was extremely interesting and satisfying. My wife thought that her Tiramisu was the best she ever had, anywhere.
Hidden near the Ponte delle Bele, this trattoria offers Sud Tirol family cooking in a friendly, casual way. But the food is delicious at surprising prices. Worth a visit.
Ottima trattoria: ambiente ben curato e raccolto, molto caratteristico, ottimo cibo (questa sera con i miei genitori abbiamo provato tartare, bigoli, cannaderli e merluzzo: tutti i prezzi perfetti sono sicuramente buoni. consigliato!
