Main Street Market - Vicksburg

I've been wanting to visit this restaurant for years, but I could never make it during their limited business hours, which are only for lunch. Finally, I got the chance, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was authentic and incredibly fresh. We ordered the white beans and rice along with the muffuletta, and the soup of the day was a homemade ham and bean soup. Everything had the perfect balance of flavor, texture, and temperature, and the presentation was beautiful. I haven't enjoyed a lunch this much in a long time. It's clear that the chef and staff take great pride in their cuisine. The team was friendly and accommodating, and I can't wait to sample everything on their menu!

During our visit to Vicksburg, we received a great recommendation for this restaurant. We enjoyed a lovely lunch with quick and attentive service, providing a refreshing break from the usual meat-and-three offerings. I had the crispy chicken and it was delicious, while the tomato bisque was fantastic! My teenagers loved their chicken salad and gumbo, leaving their plates spotless. Each dish was $10 and included either a soup or salad. We will definitely return; it’s a delightful spot for a relaxing lunch.

I happened to be passing through Vicksburg and was in search of a local restaurant when I discovered Main Street Market Cafe. The food was delicious, the menu offered a nice variety while remaining selective, and the service was friendly, all in a charming local ambiance. I highly recommend it!

As a restaurant owner who tells a long list of people that I'm good, I can't say good enough about these guys. Service was on site and I was very impressed with the food. Remember, I'm a hole when it comes to dinner and we drove 3 hours to eat in this place. I'd drive twice. You're the right deal. Take some time out of your day and eat here.

All we had was delicious and served with a smile. The cookies tasted EXACTLY like my mother's homemade cookies! The pea soup, Gumbo and Philly cheese steak were all so good. We just wish we had room for Dessert! This will be a necessary stop next time in Vicksburg.
