Bubby Rose's Bakery Cafe - Victoria

Stop in at Bubby Rose’s Bakery Cafe on my way home. The location was nice and convenient the staff were great and the food tasted good

After a longish absence from my home in Victoria, I 've been lapping up 'welcome home ' greetings by visiting favourite places. My first stop at a past number one bakery left me flat! This was my goto for date squares and other pastry items. What a disappointment to put a terribly dry, insufficiently dated tasteless morsel as I had today. My wife got some cream tarts that lacked the love that we had been accustomed to. There are several locations in town, perhaps they have spread themselves and their ingredients too thinly. We 'll be trying some other shops for our dessert/coffee/snack needs. Too bad.

Sweets= yes! Savoury stuff= keep walking. Potentially the weirdest tasting lasagna, lifetime. 4/10, need to try the other locations before I write off the franchise

A tasty selection of baked goods, and lunch fare in a high ceiling large friendly open space. One long term staff member, in particular, here since the location opened, is helpful, efficient and welcoming.This is where neighbourhood locals and nearby office workers come to meet and enjoy comfortable food at lunch.

They have such a cheery tart! Also Staff are very nice, they helped me to change my cash!
