If you're dead set on having this cuisine, perhaps this will hit the spot - but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
Delicious food, charming staff, and a unique setting. The samosas and jerk chicken were outstanding. Five marks out of five.
One meal was so salty it was inedible, 2 meals tasted like old bland stew, 1 meal was good. Service was poor, floor was dirty under counters, surfaces like sideboards and watercooler were dusty. Wont go there ever again.
We stopped in to pick up Jamaican patties to go after dinner at a nearby restaurant. All flavours in the varieties we selected (Vegetable, spinach, and beef) were delicious and a special find was the smoked fish and akee patty. Can't wait to get back to Victoria to stock up again!
If you want to know what the food tastes like: Head across the street to Fairways Grocery, pick up something from the freezer section and reheat it in a crappy microwave from the Goodwill. That way the service will be faster too.
