As of 2022, post-Covid, the menu has been limited, and the tea room now closes at the end of August, operating only three days a week. Be sure to check their website for details. The food remains excellent, and it is now called Rudi's.

Furthermore, I found the volunteers to be quite unfriendly, regardless of their age. There was not a single smile exchanged among them. This lack of warmth and welcoming attitude is something that absolutely needs improvement. Prices should be adjusted to better accommodate a wider range of budgets, and it would greatly benefit the atmosphere if the volunteers learned to greet guests with a smile. While I waited, I observed that it wasn't just me who noticed this cold reception; others did too. This issue has persisted for years, and while there is always room for improvement, it will take time and effort to make the necessary changes.

What a lovely experience in the sun! The pavlova was delicious, and the rich tea was simply perfect. I must also give a special shout-out to the beautifully crafted tea ware.

I came here with some good friends to celebrate my 22nd birthday and had a really wonderful time! The Tea House has a variety of Silkroad teas and creates fascinating Italian soda. The general aesthetics of the café was quite rustic, but the food was decent in quality and portions. Staff and volunteers really helped to make this an amazing experience with their really warm hospitality. The costume museum is right next door and a great place to stop to see some breaths. Last but not least, the garden around the governor's house offers fresh air and stunning surroundings. The friends definitely made the experience even better, I would come back totally!

Does anyone know when the tea room will open? The coffee is very good and the muffins are yummy. LOL...Please don't tell anyone.
