Catalano was a very nice experience in eating, price/quality, service and ambiente. I save five stars for absolutely amazing perfection. I would recommend catalano friends and family.
Catalano is our favorite restaurant in victoria. we will be there for the new year eve and we are sorry that it will be forced to close that because the hotel refuses to extend the lease contract.
Had a very nice evening, but missed the Polnta-Fries!
We went to the Catalano for my birthday. The restaurant was nice, the location was good, and the the view of the lit up parliament building was charming. I found a wine I really liked on the wine list. However, the service and food were not as good as we had hoped. Everything was very, very salty, to the point that I gave up on my greens (and I really love greens). Our server was somewhat neglectful, which was disappointing, considering we were among the only customers that night (I think there were 2 other tables total). So, I would have a hard time recommending this restaurant to others. Maybe we just had an off night?
