Delhi - Victoria

We stopped in for lunch one day after walking by it several times on my way downtown. Yes it is a little obscured, tucked around the corner on Government at Bay. The sign said The best Butter Chicken in town and I absolutely believe that. We both had the Butter Chicken and yes it was a bit spicy for my delicate taste buds, however the lovely owner (I didn 't catch her name) brought me a side yogurt and with that along with the cucumber water, I became accustomed to the level of spice and very much enjoyed it. I could taste that it was a family recipe made from scratch, very authentic. The naan was also delicious and the from scratch chai was FANTASTIC!!! A lovely lunch at a very reasonable price. Will absolutely be back to this wonderful family run restaurant. I so much would rather dine at a locally owned and run restaurant with fresh ingredients and love cooked into their food than a franchise that uses canned and packaged ingredients. Do yourself a favour and eat here!!

Went for a dinner on the run and got a veggie curry wrap for $9! This is my new favorite place. Delicious, convenient and the prices are more than reasonable.

Perfect little spot to,drop into and pick up lunch. We ordered the butter chicken with basmati rice and a lentil Dahl . Both so Spicey we could not eat either of the dishes. Very disappointing and a waste of food! So sad because the owners were incredibly nice !
