Kissako Sushi - Victoria

After a few difficult years that survive on take-off business, Kissako is back served the best, most delicious sushi in her cozy little restaurant. We live in the neighborhood and our favorites are miso soup, spicy Alterashi, seafood salads, Niiri of all kinds,...literal all their roles, Tempoura and more. We have tried almost everything on the menu in the last 5 years and have always felt very satisfied.

This is the best small sushi restaurant in town. I haven't written a review yet because I don't want them to be too busy and don't have room for us! We've been going since they've opened and it's bad luck every time....

This restaurant is small, maybe about 7 tables and is run by a few. Your food is delicious, fresh is the sushi in good pieces. They make the best Udon soup fresh with any order and their luncheon specialties are very reasonable....Tempura excellent, service Excellent everything is very delicious. They are open for lunch and dinner. You'll go too.

Kissako is our go-to place for a Japanese meal when we didn't feel like cooking. It's just a small, friendly place to wind down. Food is reasonable and consistent.

A Japanese restaurant in the heart of the very English Oak Bay is unusual maybe, but this is my favourite Japanese restaurant in Victoria. Owned and operated by a Japanese couple, every dish is lovingly and expertly created, It is a very relaxing atmosphere and...the sushi here is excellent. It opens at noon.
