However, they also required a deposit upfront and made us pre-order from a menu with inflated prices. For example, we had to pay £45 for 6 beers, which was not disclosed at the time of booking and felt deceitful. Despite paying £450 for a table, we were seated in a location where half of us couldn't even see a TV screen. The food was overcooked and unappetizing, and half of the beers we wanted were unavailable, forcing us to choose cheaper alternatives at inflated prices. The entire experience felt like they were trying to take advantage of customers during the World Cup, with no concern for whether we would return. I strongly recommend avoiding this establishment - one of the worst sports bars in London.
The price of a 330ml bottle of beer was £6.70. Despite ordering drinks online, none were delivered and we had to go up to the bar each time. The sound was not loud enough for the football game and the table was not big enough for our reservation.
Fantastic sports bar with excellent craft beers and delicious small plates.
If I could give a place negative stars, Long Arm would be my first. First off, we picked this bar because they had a solid sharing menu and we had a large group ~15). About 30 minutes into our reservation, we tried to order food and they told us “the kitchen is closed right now because of a large group order.” What?!? An hour later, they still didn’t allow us to order food, and said they’d “let us know.” Later on, they would proceed to drop and shatter a glass on the bar directly in front of me. Accidents happens, but as I picked glass off my shirt helped one employee find and collect the rest of the glass, the bartenders proceeded to forget my order and take orders from others outside of the shattered glass area. Lastly, they got my order wrong. Every. Single. Time. There are 100 pubs in the vicinity of Long Arm. Go to them instead.
Nice atmosphere, but burger was very poor, if you are hoping for a memorable burger at £16 don't waste your money. Beer was good but also too expensive at £6.50. They also charge a £2.30 service fee and the service was poor too. Disappointed.
