Mount Royal Bagel Factory - Victoria

I have not been to the location but I know people who are in Victoria on a regular basis and always bring me back a dozen. The bagel is a cross between a true Montreal bagel and a New York style. It leans way more on the Montreal side and they are amazing. We do not have great bagels on the west coast but Mt. Royal hits the mark and are absolutely amazing.

The best bagels on this island period. the guy who runs this place is also radiating in coolness. these bagels are just as good as they are in montreal! i literally ran 6km in the rain today to get a bakers dozen. fair prices too.

Best bagels, I absolutely love the poppyseed one and their cream cheese, such a lovely hidden gem.

Close enough to be called a bagel. To be clear though, they are still nearly twice the size of Montreal bagels. That said, they’re the only ones I recommend if you’re not in MTL and NYC.

I adore these bagels.... and I miss them. I now live in whiterock and cant get a decent bagel here! can't wait to see you guys in a few weeks... what are your hours for the holidays? I'm gonna stock up.
