Whole Foods Market - Victoria

BEAUTIFUL STORE. WONDERFUL little desserts that are eyecatching. the pre-made salads were HORRIBLE though :( so disappointing, the lettuce was wilted and nothing tasted fresh. Too bad because I LOVE whole foods and wanted to get something for lunch on my wedding day.. ended up eating the croutons and tomatoes out of the salad because it was all I could salvage. Macaroons were delicious though.

This was my 2nd visit to the Victoria Whole Foods store and I was impressed (again) with the great selection of fresh and boxed/canned items. I could go crazy in this store, but I've learnt to bring a list and stick to it. ????

What a fresh place this is to visit - spotless, friendly staff and so much to choose from - great place to pick up a self - made salad and take it out to the full sunshine patio - get your supper to take home - no excuse to not eat healthy -displays are awesome in every department - as must go see !!!

Not sure? My wife, son and I could not agree on what to have for lunch on our visit to Victoria. So our son said lets go to Whole foods. Wow what a good selection from pizza to fish and chips. I went with the pouting wife tried fish and chips son went with pizza. We were all pleased with our selection great tasting and not bad values. Highly recommend this as a quick alternative for lunch. Wine and beer also available .

I heard that the new Whole Foods was open so my boyfriend and I decided to finally check it out. We did a walk around the whole store and it was very impressive - quite clean and great looking displays. They had a lot of interesting brands that you don't see in many of the grocery stores in Victoria and a really impressive selection of cheeses. Some of the grab and go items were incredibly expensive (for $8 I can spiralize my own zucchini) and other items were the same price as many other grocery stores around here. OK a lot of the items were incredibly expensive but we were expecting that as we'd been to Whole Foods in Vancouver before. We didn't buy much as we basically went to look around and see what it had to offer. Didn't talk to any of the staff so can't comment on the service. The store was laid out nicely and worth looking around. Also, the Thai green coconut curry hummus is very tasty. Not sure why Whole Foods is in the restaurant section here as it is a grocery store but I guess you can order food inside as well as grocery shop.
