Very good service, and they have to many items to choose from.
Had to buy a dress and last minute I call and she says she'll wait for me so I got to have a dress for Cinco de mayo beautiful products and clothes
OVER PROMISES, UNDER DELIVERS, UNDER PERFORMS. Went here for quince services. Initially looking for just a dress and begins to explain that she offers it ALL. Ok great one stop shop right? So I backed out with my original decorator for services with La Isla Big Mistake) She had a variety of items for the ceremony among other things, but were way too expensive. Ended up going to PROGRESSO MEXICO and found what we needed at 2\3 less the cost. Several times when I went over there to touch base, she always had her son minding the store so it was hard to get in face to face contact and update progress as the date gets closer. Went to other quinces that my daughter was invited to and La Isla did some of the work and the letters that spell out the name with light were very dim and not very presentable at all and 1 or 2 letters weren't even glowing. So far not impressed and had me worried. I spent $500 extra to have our venue available on a friday to help her get things ready with ease so if things weren't right, she would have an extra day to make it right. Well we were unhappy with the colors and we asked to replaced the chairs cover with a different color and she didn't want to because she already paid someone to do what was already here. We rented a photo water fountain, but my daughters picture wasn't ready when she came down on friday, and wanted to charge $50 extra for closing her business that saturday and for gas because she couldn't find someone to mind the store and her son couldn't do it, even though I only saw him 95% of the time when I tried to touch base with her in past months leading up to the event. But, wait a minute she was coming down Saturday anyways to do our Fruit Table right? WRONG. She had someone do it for her, so NO she doesn't do it all. Also if I didn't rent the venue that Friday, then what would she be doing on Saturday?........ driving down here to decorate. RIGHT? So she would have to come down Saturday anyways, and that's considering that she had 2 other quince projects that same day. So by me paying extra for Friday, should have made her Saturday a heck of a lot easier. The decorations were underwhelming. The main table with the rose decorations slouched. The table covers had a lot of creases. The chair that my daughter sat in was dirty and need to be cleaned out as it had food and other things in it from previous use. Not to mention the chair was uneven. Upon first sit my daughter almost fell backwards. She didn't sit at her designated table the rest of the night and instead sat at the round tables with her court. The decorations were little glass vases with flowers and little LED lights. they did not illuminate at all and honestly looked very pitiful and unacceptable. The tables looked so dead and boring. Fortunately our original decorator was still available that day and on last day, notice she washed, ironed chair covers that looked much better. She decorated the ceiling, as well as much better, bigger decorations that really stood out on the tables. She also had brighter letters that really made her name stand out and say that this is her night. So overall I DO NOT recommend the Isla for your quince needs. Doing a quince is not cheap and you want great results for a great of sum of your hard earned money. Your daughter is only quince one time and you need someone who will go above and beyond and will do whatever it takes to make your one and only day special.
Had my daughters pinata made here, loved it, staff is kind and professional. Was able to get my order quick and on time. Communication with me and about my order was great as well.
