Feedback gevenWe were a party of 40 Mexicans, Americans, Italians, and Germans. We sat outside in early April. The dinner was wonderful and the service was excellent.
The restaurant is beautiful and offers free valet parking. However the food is just fair. We ate there twice, once for lunch and once for their Sunday buffet breakfast. You expect great food viewing the elegance of the restaurant, but it's just not there. However, the prices are not bad. I prefer better food and I'm willing to pay more for it. If I want atmosphere, I'll become an astronaut.
The renovation of the building is very well done. It does look fancy and it is popular because of that...However, the quality of the food is very far from what you would expect when you look at the prices... This is just 2nd class or 3rd class italian food with 1st class prices.
Very elegant restaurant. Arrived early (for local standards) and many tables indoors and on the terrace were available. We were offered terrace with a magnificent view but elected to go indoors due to flies. Unfortunately, "indoors" pictured here suffered from open doors and windows, so the flies were everywhere.Service was great, with excellent food served at the right pace and water glasses filled without asking.
This Italian plus restaurant was recommended by friends that have lived in Mexico over 25 years. It is close to the downtown square & church. Less than $5 US taxi ride. Facility was beautiful including landscape. Our menu (with English) had a large variety of dining selections including good pizza. Our highlight was the symphony violinist that played during dinner. (Believe he only plays on weekends). He was absolutely fantastic playing the violin accompanied with pre-recorded background music. He would also take request. I recommend this restaurant. Hope you found this helpful.
