Restaurant Japonais-Samurai

After reading bad reviews of David's in past years, we decided to give it a try in light of recent better reviewsFirst, service was WONDERFUL.

Dropped in here on a Saturday afternoon for breakfastSlow and horrible service (waiter looked upset).

This restaurant is absolutely revolting. It's filthy, the food is terrible, and the service is awful. I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich from this Jewish deli and it was a complete disappointment.

Soirée des plus mémorable avec notre hôte Yuki, maître de la cuisine japonaise qui se démarque par ses saveurs unique et sa personnalité charismatique. Depuis plus de 20 ans je salive à l'idée de déguster les mets du Samuraï. Une tradition festive lorsque c'est le temps de célébrer. Je suis une cliente fidèle et satisfaite de cette expérience culinaire. J'adore l'ambiance amusante et chaleureuse. Après avoir parcouru le monde, c'est toujours un bonheur de revenir au source pour apprécier un samuraï délectable en bonne compagnie. Je le recommande à tous. Merci YUKI ❤️

Are you nostalgic of the old Japanese steak houses where we all sat around the cooking plate and had knives flying around ? Well, this is exactly what it is. Do I need to say more ? The owner and the Chefs play the part very well, with the same jokes for years but for some reason, we appreciate it. That's what we go there for and that's what we're getting. The menus offer the usual meat or shrimp teriakis, the soups and salads, the sauteed vegetables, etc. The quality is still there even after so many years.
