Chela's Y Carnitas - Victorville

These are the best tripas tacos I've ever had, and the menudo is delicious too! The handmade tortillas are top-notch. These folks really know what they're doing!

I stopped by Barstow on my way back to Los Angeles from Arizona, looking for an authentic Mexican hole-in-the-wall. I found Chelas y Carnitas, and it didn’t disappoint. My 3-year-old enjoyed his chicken tacos like a pro. The service was quick and friendly!

This place has the best carnitas and chicharrones in the High Desert! We absolutely love their gorditas, tacos, burritos, and the chicharrón quesadilla—so good! On Sunday, we returned to try the menudo, and it was delicious. You really have to give it a try!

Found this little gem on New Years Day! When we walked in the place was so clean and neat. The gal that was taking our order didn’t speak great English but the guy working was able to help us. my wife ordered the three tacos on corn tortillas, two of them carne asada and the other a pastor. She said it was some of the best she ever had! I got a carne asada burrito, now I haven’t had rice and beans in most of the burros I have had in the past but this was perfect mix. As we were getting ready to leave we saw the had something in the refrigerator and when we asked what it was they told us it was flan. Now I’m not a big fan of flan but this tasted great. While we we were inside we happen to see the gentleman make fresh tortillas
