Overall very displeased the food is way way to overpriced for the small amount of food you get and IT DOESNT EVEN TASTE GOOD. The brisket does not taste good. Not good at all just dont even waste your time coming here. I'm so angry I put a tip before seeing the food. If I could get my money back i would and go somewhere else but when your hungry you kinda just deal with it and eat it. also the parking situation is whack af here. Price per person: $30–50

Some of the best food ever. I really loved fried shrimp and oysters. Also the fried green tomatoes and dill pickles. I came with my cooler so I could take extra dinners back to Jackson for my family. I waited about 20-30 minutes for my food, even though there was only one other customer in the restaurant. It was so hot in there that I was sweating heavily. When my food finally arrived, the ribs were lukewarm and dry. The green beans were tasty, but the potato salad was just average. Overall, I was not impressed. I felt disappointed because I used to frequent this place years ago and had a good experience when I visited a couple of years back. I’m not sure what went wrong today; maybe it was just an off day.
